No injuries reported in Wednesday collision

Charles City, Iowa – Charles City Police say no one was injured after two vehicles collided with each other on Wednesday morning.

According to the accident report, 66-year-old Constance Schiller of Charles City and 27-year-old Shannon Schwickerath of South Dakota were both westbound on 4th Avenue when Schwickerath attempted to merge into Schiller’s lane, striking her vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

Schwickerath was cited for failure to yield to the vehicle on the right.

Both vehicles sustained close to $5,000 in damages.
