Floyd County Board Of Supervisor Meeting Notes

Charles City, Iowa – This morning the Floyd County of Supervisors decided to not take any action on increasing the size of the parking lot by the Floyd County Courthouse.  It would have been an agreement between the city of Charles City and Floyd County, but County Supervisor Doug Kamm says they need more information before moving forward.

There’s a concern there’s not enough parking with the new law enforcement center.  The extra size would be on the grass between South Jackson Street and the current public parking lot.

The County Board of Supervisors also approved 208 Homestead Tax Credits, 30 Military Exemptions, and seven Disabled Veterans Homestead Credit applications for 2018 submitted by Floyd County Assessor Gary VanderWerf.

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
