Kenneth “Ken” Ross, 67, Charles City

Kenneth “Ken” Ross, 67, of Charles City, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the Mayo Clinic-St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester, Minnesota.

A visitation for Ken Ross will be Friday, August 10 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City.

Kenneth “Ken” Dean Ross, the son of Kenneth Edward and Eileen (Robison) Ross, was born on June 22, 1951 in Charles City, Iowa. Ken attended schools in Charles City and graduated in 1969. Ken married Cindy Nixt on September 8, 1980 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.

Ken farmed on his family farm his entire life. He also worked various jobs in Charles City. He loved his tractors and went on many antique tractor rides. Ken most enjoyed his time spent with all of his “buddies”.

Ken is survived by his wife of nearly 38 years, Cindy; daughter, Cari Ross of Charles City; son, Ryan (Marcy) Ross of Charles City; granddaughter, Ava Ross; mother, Eileen Ross of Charles City; special cousins: Dennis, Jim, Donny, and Glenn; special aunts: aunt Laura and auntie Marie; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jenna; and father, Kenneth.

Chris Berg

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
