BREAKING OVERNIGHT: Lightening Strike Engulfs Assisted Living Center

Cresco, Iowa – A Northeast Iowa assisted living center was evacuated last night after a lightening strike hits their building.

Lightening struck the Cresco Assisted Living Center over night.

Three school buses evacuated 28 residents and they were forced to relocate to another facility or other family members.

The blaze began in the attic, there were no injuries.  

Five area departments responded to the fire.
