Charles City, Iowa – Local dining establishments all over the state, including 10 in Charles City, will be participating in Main Street Iowa Restaurant Week, September 14-23. In its second year, the Restaurant Week promotion encourages Iowans to travel to, and dine in, Main Street communities across the state.
During the 10-day event, nearly 150 restaurants in 28 communities will feature a variety of special dining offers, such as community-wide passports or punch cards rewarding diners for visiting local restaurants, special menu pricing and more.
In Charles City, the following eateries will not only be offering Restaurant Week specials, but also chances to win prizes for dining with them: Cedar River Pizza, Comet Bowl, Dairy Queen, Dave’s Restaurant, Hot Shots, Hy-Vee Kitchen, Lucky Dragon, Pizza Hut, Subway and The Pub on the Cedar. Special stamp cards will be available at each restaurant, as well as at the Community Development Office at 401 North Main St. Diners can earn a stamp from each restaurant they dine in or make a carryout purchase. Once they have at least five (5) stamped locations they can enter their cards in the drawing boxes at each location for a chance to win Charles City Cash. If they get all 10 stamps they can enter their card for a chance to win a Charles City Dining Gift Basket as well as Charles City Cash.
Both the Charles City Area Chamber of Commerce and Business Improvement Committee of Community Revitalization have been working with local restaurant owners to participate in this special state-wide promotion. For more information, call (641) 228-2335 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
