The Score Sheet: Osage Bags Fourth Staright Conference Title, North Butler Wins Fifth Straight

Area volleyball teams are on a streak.

Osage 3, Rockford 0

The Osage Green Devil volleyball team has not lost a conference set in match in four years.  The Green Devils swept the Rockford Warriors in straight sets last night 25-13, 25-14 and 25-21 to capture their fourth straight Top of Iowa Conference.  Dani Johnson led the Green Devil offense with 12 kills, and Sydney Midlang added 9 to the 44 kill performance. Osage hit .313. In the loss Jamie Schuster led the Warriors with seven kills and Kayla Carrol collected five.  Rockford falls to 9-9 and hosts North Butler Tuesday. Osage is 14-4 and is at the Waverly-Shell Rock triangular.

North Butler 3, West Fork 0

Make it five in a row for the North Butler Bearcats. They swept West Fork in straight sets winning 25-23, 25-17 and 25-13.  North Butler travels to Rockford Tuesday.

Saint Ansgar 3, Northwood-Kensett 0

Saint Ansgar made it three in a row last night with a straight sets win over Northwood Kensett.  Blayne Koster led the Saints with nine kills, Jadyn Anderson and Brooke Hackabart spotted seven kills.  The 7-8 Saints are at Nashua-Plainfield Thursday.
