Halloween Hike Is An Education Trek For Area Youth

New Hampton, Iowa – What do a dragonfly, a lightning bug, a woodpecker, a skink and a squirrel have in common?
Those five characters highlight this year’s Chickasaw County Conservation Board’s Halloween Hike. Matt Crayne is a naturalist with the Chickasaw County Conservation Board:
The theme – Stranger things. Naturalist Matt Crayne says this year’s theme stems from a popular television show.
Hikes are on Tuesday at 6, 6:15, 6:30 and 6:45 – Each hike is limited to 25 people. Free will donations will be accepted at the door. To register call 641-394-4714.
