Charles City Witchfest Set For Saturday

Charles City, Iowa – Get out your witchy attire and your best pointy hat for a fun-filled day of shopping with the girls (guys welcome too) at participating businesses. With the return of Charles City’s Witchfest on Saturday, October 20th, enjoy a full day of pampering, special treats, and relaxing time with friends and family while checking out local retail offerings and community attractions. Better yet, brew up even more fun by dressing the part for this Halloween-themed event.

“Veteran shoppers may notice a couple small changes this year; the special gift has changed to something they can use daily, and the date is a little closer to Halloween,” said Events Coordinator Emily Garden.

Participating Witchfest locations include: Schueth Ace Hardware, Darbe & Company, Mara, Lidd & Cordray, The American Legion Auxiliary, Otto’s Oasis, LulaRoe Rachel Adam, Charles City Electronics, Hy-Vee, The Rustic Corner, Birdies and Bo’s, Unique Country Store and Jacie Garden, Independent Scentsy Consultant. They are teaming up to offer specials, discounts, giveaways and prizes.

A special Shop Charles City gift, including exclusive shopping offers, will be available at 9 a.m. Saturday to the first 100 shoppers in line at the Chamber office located at 401 N. Main St. Chamber drawing boxes will also be situated around town at all participating locations for shoppers to sign up for a chance to win Charles City Cash. The more locations you visit, the better your chances to win.

Grab your friends, your black pointed hat and head to Charles City for a fabulous day of fun!
