Iowa Tourism Climbing Beside Rising Gas Prices

Money Under Magnify Glass Isolated Over White

Charles City, Iowa – Tourism in Iowa is at all time high – reaching nearly 8.5 billion dollars last year a 3-point-three percent jump since 2016.

Travel-generated expenditures in Floyd County totaled 18 point 97 million dollars and increase of close to two percent.  This is Charles City Chamber Director Mark Wix who says Iowa’s attractions helped spike these numbers.

Wix added gas prices may be climbing but the increase is due to the demand of what’s to be seen.
