Nashua Agrees To Extend Contract For Law Enforcement Services

Nashua, Iowa – The Nashua City Council has approved an extension between the Chickasaw County Sheriff’s office and the city.

The new contract runs through June 30th of 2019.  The council requested a change allowing the city to pay half of it’s bill at the beginning of the contract and half of it during the middle of the contract.  

The council is also creating a committee comprised of members of the Nashua Police Department, Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office and the board of supervisors.  

The city of Nashua and the Chickasaw County Sheriff’s office are discussing a contract beginning July 1, 2019.
