Mason City woman hits cars, two homes after police chase

Mason City, Iowa – A Mason City woman is behind bards after refusing to stop for law enforcement and later hitting two parked cars and two houses.

The incident took place Monday afternoon just before 1.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, 21-year-old Sidney Kristine Garcia of Mason City wasn’t injured. Her passenger, 29-year-old Terry Arp sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The Mason City Police Department booked Garcia for failure to maintain control, no drivers license, no insurance and eluding a police officer. Arp was later taken into custody for outstanding warrants.
