Nominations open for recognizing education’s finest agriculture programs

Des Moines, Iowa – The Iowa Council on Agricultural Education announced last week it is seeking nominees to recognizes excellence in agriculture.

The award recognizes agriculture education programs who’s work is exemplary in marketing, agriculture, career awareness, integration of science, adult education, and curriculum review and revision.

Anyone can nominate a program.  One winner will be selected in each of the areas and will be awarded during the Iowa FFA Leadership Conference from April 14-16.

Applications can be found on the Iowa Agriculture Literacy Foundation’s website. The applications are due March 1.

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them.
