USDA announces some FSA offices will temporarily reopen

Ames, Iowa – Wednesday morning the USDA announced it will temporarily reopen some of their FSA offices Thursday, Friday and Tuesday, January 22.

They will provide select services such as assistance with existing farm loans and provide 1099 tax documents to borrowers during normal business hours.

In a release to North Iowa News, the Iowa Farmers Union says if you have business with the FSA to take advantage while the doors are open, before their forced to close.  If you’re county’s office is closed, they recommend visiting another.

The Chickasaw, Cerro Gordo and Winneshiek county offices will be open.
