Rotary soup supper features homemade food, valet service

Charles City, Iowa – The Charles City Rotary Club will hold a fundraising soup supper this Saturday at the Elks Lodge in Charles City in conjunction with Cabin Fever Weekend.

After a two-year hiatus, the soup supper continues some of its traditions with a new location and soup menu.

Charles City Rotary Club President Staci Ackerson says this year’s event has changed.

Tickets are $10.00 for adults, $5.00 children ages 11 and under. Tickets can be purchased at KCHA Studios, the customer service counter at Charles City Hy-Vee, from any Rotarian or at the door.

Five different soups will be served along with several desserts.

All proceeds with assist the Rotary Club with continued community projects and scholarships.

Chris Berg

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
