The Score Sheet: Bradly dumps UNI, Hawkeye men and women prepare for Thursday games

Bradley shot 55 percent for the game, including 11 of 20 from three point range, to beat Northern Iowa 79-71 in Cedar Falls. Panther guard Wyatt Lohaus says there were too many breakdowns on defense.

UNI coach Ben Jacobson says the Panthers could not get enough stops in the second half to give themselves a chance.

The Panthers fall to 5-6 in the Missouri Valley and 10-14 overall.

Iowa women’s coach Lisa Bluder says the number 10 worn by Megan Gustafson will be retired, eventually. The senior center is Iowa’s all time leading scorer and rebounder and set a new Big Ten record this week by being named the league’s player of the week for the 20th time in her career.

Bluder says the Iowa administration has told her the number will be retired someday.

Iowa hosts Michigan State tonight.

The 20th Iowa Hawkeyes are on the road Thursday night to visit Indiana. The Hawkeyes are 6-5 in the Big Ten after rolling to a win over fifth ranked Michigan last week. Iowa coach Fran McCaffery.

Indiana snapped a seven game losing skid with a win at Michigan State and coach Fran McCaffery says the Hoosiers’ health has improved.

Junior forward Tyler Cook says the Hawkeyes need to continue to focus on defense.

Chris Berg

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
