Stacyville awarded grant to improve town’s water main

Stacyville, Iowa -Twelve communities across the state have received $4.1 million dollars from the Iowa Economic Development Authority to support community water and sewer infrastructure projects.

Of the Iowa towns receiving grants, Stacyville will be receiving $300,000 for water main replacement.

The grants are awarded based on benefit to low and moderate-income persons, financial need, project impact and readiness and commitment of local resources to the project.
