MercyOne, local representatives to host roundtable on growing medical crisis

New Hampton, Iowa – MercyOne Medical Center and Iowa lawmakers are hosting a roundtable and public forum on the rural health care crisis on Friday in New Hampton. The goal is to hear from the public and share ideas about how to improve and expand access to health care in rural areas.

Rep. Todd Prichard, Rep. Bruce Bearinger (Fayette County), Rep. Sharon Steckman (Cerro Gordo County), Rep. Timi Brown-Powers (Black Hawk County), Rep. Ras Smith (Black Hawk County) are expected to attend.
