Charles City, Iowa – The Charles City School District has approved a program allowing the school to position the district strategically to meet its goals over the next 20 years.
Superintendent Mike Fisher calls the program their ‘north star.’
The Patterson Group, a Colorado based company, will run ‘StratOp.’ It’s a 12-15-month long process. It includes interviews, training and workshops.
It’s designed for their senior leadership team and two board members.
Fisher says it’s a deep dive into who the school is and helps set an action plan.
The board approved it at Monday’s meeting for $16,800.
