Mason City Police in need of public’s help with accident

Single-vehicle crash needing witness accounts for investigation

Mason City, Iowa – The Mason City Police Department is asking if you know any information about a single-vehicle accident Thursday night before 7pm.

Police report the crash happened at 12th street Northwest as the vehicle had been east bound.  When officers arrived, they found five occupants inside the vehicle.  One patient was life lighted to Mayo, the other four were transported to Mercy One North Iowa.

Several witnesses have been identified, according to police, but there may be persons with information who haven’t talked to police.
