Reynolds, area law makers to sign ‘Logans Law’ Monday morning

Community welcome to Charles City Middle School for signing and program

Charles City, Iowa – The Charles City School District announced Thursday night they’ll host Governor Kim Reynolds, Representative Todd Prichard, Senator Waylon Brown and the Luft family to sign SF 86 known as Logan’s Law.

The community is invited to a short program at 10:30 at Charles City Middle School with doors opening at 10:00.

“The simple act of placing an organ donor sticker on a state hunting or finishing license is a powerful way to make a lasting difference,” said Governor Reynolds.

Logan’s Law is named in honor of Logan Luft who died in July 2017 from sustaining brain injuries from an ATV accident.  He donated five of his organs.

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
