Warmer weather brings along summertime fun including in town campfires

Charles City Mayor outlines city ordinances with fires

Charles City, Iowa – As the temperatures increase and school gets out, you can expect late-night bonfires.

While smoking marsh mellows are at the top of the summertime activity list, Charles City Mayor Dean Andrews says there are a few things to keep in mind.

Andrews added there’s an ordinance against burning leaves and fires must be burned in a ring.

Chris Berg

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
