Charles City School Board approves athletic complex architect

Charles City, Iowa – Charles City Schools approved an architect for the district’s softball and baseball athletic complex at Monday night’s regular meeting.

Superintendent Mike Fisher recommended Skott & Anderson Architects to be the lead designer on the multi-million dollar project.

Fisher added they moved from their normal architect because Anderson’s expertise is suited for the complex’s construction.

School officials say survey and premium design cost $25,000, final design is $95,000 and construction administration won’t exceed $30,000.

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
