Keith Alan Quade, the son of Kenneth and Josephine (Nott) Quade, was born May 23, 1951 in Charles City.  He received his education in Charles City and graduated from Charles City High School in 1969.  Keith helped on the family farm, bought and sold antiques and worked for his brother, Marcus, at Quade Construction for several years.

Keith took great pride in his antique collecting, especially the player pianos he rebuilt and played.  He taught himself how to play the piano, and he entertained his guests in his basement after wonderful dinner parties he would host at his house (Keith was a wonderful cook).  Keith was also an avid rock collector with beautiful rock and floral gardens at his home.  He touched many lives throughout the years, and will be missed by all who loved him.

Living family members include his three sisters:  Marjorie Hanson of Elk Grove, California, Marcella (Jim) LaBounty of Charles City and Marylee Mehmen of Nashua; two sisters-in-law:  Carol Quade and Brenda Rickart both of Charles City; uncle:  Warren Nott of Charles City; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers:  Roger Quade and Marcus Quade; brother-in-law, Dennis Mehmen; and by a nephew.

Chris Berg

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
