Fredericksburg Dairy Days return with mid-week tradition, and family-friendly activities

Frederiskburg, Iowa – The time-tested tradition of Fredericksburg Dairy Days returns for another year-of midweek celebrations.

Tuesday and Wednesday are packed with parades, carnivals, and several family-friendly activities.

Kayla Strempke with the festival says they added a minute-to-win-it competition to cap off the night at 8:30 Wednesday.

Another change is the theme this year, not the one saying  a town of 1,000 becomes 10,000 but it’s The Milk. The Whole Milk. Nothing But The Milk.

Milking has been the back bone of a strong, continuous event that’s spanned several decades according to Strempke.

She added sets Dairy Days apart because it doesn’t add to the deluge of events on weekends.

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
