Cerro Gordo man wins $10,000 lottery prize

Rockwell, Iowa – A Cerro Godo resident has won $10,000 after matching four white balls and the Mega Millions ball in the Iowa Lottery.

According to the Globe Gazette, Gerald Ries of Rockwell matched all but one number correctly to win the prize. Had he been luckier, he would’ve walked away with the $45 million dollar jackpot.

The winning numbers were 19-40-47-57-65 and the Mega Ball 6.  The Megaplier was 2.
