Planes, pancakes set for Sunday’s all-you-can-eat feed

Charles City, Iowa – Flapjacks, fun and planes wouldn’t be combination most would think, maybe airline food but this time it’s not being served on plastic trays.

All you can eat pancakes and sausage are the menu for the Charles City Lion’s Club and the Northeast Iowa Regional Airport.

Director of Operations Chris Schrodt says plane rides are available too.

No worries, the pilots have the availability to talk with each other and they know the plane routes.

Bill Kyle with the airport says people who fuel up will be able to look at planes on display.

The breakfast is $6 for adults, kids 12 an under are $4 and 4 and under are free.

It starts at Sunday morning at 8 and goes until 12:30.

Contact a Lion’s Club member or the airport with questions.  Rides and trainings are available through the Northeast Iowa Regional Airport on a regular basis.

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
