State Farm raises $1,000 in lemonade, cookie sales for Floyd County Fair

Charles City, Iowa – Charles City’s State Farm Insurance took a simple pastime and put to good use last week.

Agent Jeremy Rogstad told North Iowa News they brought a lemonade stand idea back to life.

Employee’s children manned the stand and took orders for lemonade and cookies.

The funds are designated for the rebuilding efforts at the Floyd County Fairgrounds.

Rogstad says this allowed people to make a difference.

He says events like these are important for the community and his business.

Rogstad told North Iowa News they plan to help a business in the fall with lemonade sales.
