State-wide award!

Elma – Colonial Manor of Elma, a 57-bed licensed care center received the Governor’s Award for Quality Care, Monday – this is the second time this facility has been given the prestigious prize. Tasha Steeve, administrator at the manor, says the reasons for the honors rolls deep in what they are able to offer.

Director at the Iowa Department of Inspection and Appeals Larry Johnson Jr., says this award is pretty special.

Colonial Manor, has created fantastic final-chapters to resident’s stories. Steeve finished her speech by reading off anonymous praise that a resident’s child said when talking about the care  her mother received from the home.
