Northeast Iowa bank held up at gun point

Lime Springs, Iowa – A Northeast Iowa bank was held up at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon.  

The Cresco Times Plain Dealer reports a person armed with a gun robbed CUSB Bank in Lime Springs around noon.  

The suspect showed a gun and demanded money, according to the newspaper.  It’s unclear if or how much money was stolen.  

Law enforcement agencies are reviewing video footage and possible leads for the robber.  

The Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier reports someone who answered the phone at the Howard County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the robbery but no other information was available.
