Osage school firearm threat

A potential firearm threat was made on Monday against an Osage Community School. The threat was initiated by an Osage student and it is likely this person will be suspended from school. The school is safe currently and has no concern at this point for their student’s safety.

The before-mentioned student is residing in a juvenile detention center and is charged with Threat of Terrorism and a class D Felony. This child will remain in the center until a detention hearing can be scheduled and performed.

The Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office, the Osage Police Department, and the Osage Community School District are all collaborating to investigate this incident thoroughly.
