PAWS tips on keeping your animals at home and safe this winter

Charles City – Winter and late fall is some of the worst times your animal can run away from home. Julie Taylor at PAWS in town says it is vitally important to think ahead before the weather nears freezing.

Taylor says there are tons of threats besides the weather that can cause harm to your dearly beloved house pet.

Taylor also wants to remind pet owners to get their pets fixed so they don’t attempt to escape in order to seek out mating. If you have lost your animal, contact the Humane Society at 641-257-0766 to check the facility.
