Alpha Delta Kappa Month in Charles City

Alpha Delta Kappa (ADK) Charles City chapter is known for creating altruism in the city in the name of promoting the importance of educators. On Monday, mayor Dean Andrews honored two members.

The ADK chapter distributes two scholarships per year to local students pursuing careers in education and also spearheaded a project to eventually help build 8 classrooms in Haiti at the Imagine Mission Orphanage. Marilyn Buttjer explains the main purpose of the group.

Andrews finished the proclamation by discussing ADK’s local education promotion, adding that it is fantastic that it they also have a worldwide presence.
