Freeze warning begins at tonight extends into early morning

Charles City, Iowa – Six states and all of Iowa are blanketed by a freeze warning forecast to go into effect tonight at 10 and lasts until 9 tomorrow morning.

Temperatures are expected to bottom out in the upper 20s and be accompanied by wind gusts in the 30s.

Tomorrow’s forecast is just as bleak with gusts blowing into the 30s and temperatures climbing into the lower 40s.

A dusting of snow is possible but according to the national weather service, it won’t stay long.

A slight warm up is on the way for next week.

Chris Berg

Chris was born in Webster City and raised in Charles City. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki, daughter Brynlee and son Jaxon.
