Trinity Health Fair sports senior solutions and computer-chips

A health fair’s main goal is to fill in the area about the healing and preventive opportunities that it offers – as it turns out – there are a lot of them. Trinity United Methodist Church in Charles City held its annual health fair today with over 13 booths.

One being Audible, a hearing-aid supplier described the new computer-chip based technology that can pin-point exactly where your hearing is lacking most and supplement it.

Another booth, holding Senior Life Solutions is a mental health problem solving team focused on the 65-plus crowd. Program Director Traci Grady, wants happy seniors.

The Director of the Iowa State Extension Office Lesley Milius says for Iowans with financial stress, the Iowa Concern Hotline is your best bet.

And Gail Arjes, a Floyd County public health administrator, says everybody should be thinking about a certain shot before the long winter.
