The hope to reach November without an accumulation of snow might be thwarted tonight. Meteorologist with the National Weather Service, Nicole Batzek, calls for 1 to 1.5 inches of white dust falling in Floyd County tonight.
As long as Tuesday’s weather eclipses 32 degrees, Batzek believes the snow should be gone by the midday sun. However, later in the week promises to deliver more snowy weather.
All in all, Tuesday morning could possibly garner slippery roads with the short-lived snow accumulation and break-checks should be used to assess traction.
