Charles City Comet baseball and softball complex lights ready for opening night

The Charles City Comet baseball and softball complex that is slated to be ready for opening day in spring, just got a huge step closer. The $400,000 lighting system completely donated by the Musco family is standing high and ready to shine.

Diane Crookham-Johnson, former Comet and daughter of Joe Crookham, the CEO of Musco Lighting, treasured her time in Charles City enough to donate the lights – and now, they will shine on the faces of Comet athletes for decades.
