Last year, Osage community school district set out to polish the campus by adding a new gym, some re-purposed rooms, a fresh cafeteria with new food and nutrition options, and many other tweaks. This project was to cost the school $13 million. Superintendent Barb Schwamman says the project should wrap-up in December with the finishing touches on the gym.
Schwamman says her favorite portion of the entire project has to be the cafeteria.
Recently the school held their ribbon cutting and open house. Schwamman says the community seemed to respond well to all the bells and whistles.
