Osage community schools ‘spectacular fall’ summary

The Osage school system recently ironed out the finishing touches on their $13 million renovation project. The new cafeteria is being used, the gym is waxed and ready for basketball season, the offices are filled with pink slips and attendance checks. But let’s look back instead of forward, and take a quick glance at what superintendent Barb Schwamman called Osage’s, “spectacular fall.”

In early November, Osage held a Beauty in the Beast musical performance that the city was buzzing about.

Finally, the school district showed great promise in almost every sports activity they participated in. E-sports, in its second year, nabbed an unexpected 2nd in the state medal and the volleyball team headlined in its efforts towards the state crown.

Schwamman expects a winter with just as much to cheer for and North Iowa News will be on the ground compiling all of these stories so you do not miss a beat.
