Floyd County employees to most likely receive a 2.5% raise

The budgeting process for the 2020-21 fiscal year starts to heat up in January. But until then, the Floyd County compensation board has decided on a 2.5% raise for employees.

This doesn’t ensure the raise, but creates an agenda item in the budget that puts the county closer to making it a final decision. 

This 2.5% raise was settled on in conjunction with the county’s employee union recommendation.
