Chickasaw County Salvation Army raises nearly $15,000

The Salvation Army has $1.7 million ground-soldiers in locations all over the world. Even in smaller counties, people seem to showcase higher levels of altruism than we expect. According to the New Hampton Tribune, the Chickasaw County Salvation Army nearly topped $15,000 in donations.

During the county’s yearly Red Kettle Campaign, the area reached a grand-total of $14,653.14 and this well-exceeded its goal. Reaching five-digits is seen as a big win for the area and its campaign.
