
This week’s Charles City school board meet-up at 6:15 p.m. in the high school study hall room, is headlined by the Comet volleyball team being gifted a new coach and leader. Hailey Brown, a current Comet school counselor, is on the agenda to get approved by the board for duty.
Also on the agenda:
Three current employees will no longer be on staff when the next full school year starts. Timothy Malven, a 5-8 grade Special Ed teacher; Bethany Otte, the high school and middle school orchestra teacher; and Elizabeth Vonhagen, a Lincoln Special Ed teacher.
And finally, the board will discuss and acknowledge important upcoming events such as spring break (March 9-13).
