‘Dr. Seuss Birthday Bash’ to be held on Monday at Charles City Middle School

Dr. Seuss was born March 2nd, 1904 – yes, that means his would-be birthday is on Monday! And the Charles City school system is throwing a ‘Dr. Seuss Birthday Bash’ to commemorate it. The event will take place in the Charles City Middle School on March 2nd from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and will be a great opportunity to fill a night with family fun.

High School Teacher Abby Gomez believes Dr. Seuss is a fantastic example of people who were uber passionate about reading. So, those who attend the event will be coming home with a free book of their choice.

The wacky fun will be topped with a thematic cherry – the Cat in the Hat will be present for photo opportunities as well.
