Senior Life Solutions still calling patients daily; encourages new patients

MercyOne New Hampton is closed to visitors – that means so is Senior Life Solution’s in-house activities. On the website, Senior Life Solutions is described as: “an intensive outpatient group counseling program, designed to meet the unique needs of older adults over the age of 65 struggling with depression and anxiety often related to aging.”

Program Director Sheila Kobliska says the program is still calling each of their patients each day to assess their head-space when it comes to the isolation and mass panic. During this time, Sheila gives her patients and local seniors specific tips.

Sheila reminds seniors, even though the world is different, we don’t have to be.

Sheila says if there are seniors in the listening area who are suffering mental issues to call her at her office: https://www.mercyone.org/newhampton/find-a-service-or-specialty/senior-life-solutions

Remember, if you or your loved one is experiencing a mental health emergency go to your nearest emergency room or dial 9-1-1.
