2 cases of coronavirus in Mitchell County; Osage mayor weighs in

As of March 31st, Mitchell County has 2 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Both cases were between the ages of 41-60, and are currently at home self-isolating. The Mayor of Osage, Steve Cooper weighs in:

Cooper promises Osage residents that the sewage system, water, and any other essential service will continue to work. All he asks is that everybody stay home and not gather in public places like parks. Since this last week has been so spring-like, Cooper has received a ton of calls about groups of people in the parks.

If it gets any worse, Cooper says the city might have to take wider measures.

However, time will continue to run regardless of the virus, Cooper says the city is still devising future projects for the area.
