Nashua restaurant offering area children ‘breakfast care packages’ (April 6th)

School systems around Iowa are pumping out free meals for their students every single weekday. One meal isn’t always enough. Today, Shelby’s Southern Smokehouse in Nashua is offering breakfast care packages for ‘school aged children’.

April 6th, the restaurant will be distributing cereal, bread, and milk to children from 6 p.m. until they are gone.

Their Facebook reminder ends: “Remember no one is allowed in the restaurant – we will have the breakfast bundles outside …We will get through this together #beakindhuman #shoplocal #ittakesavillage
