Floyd County Public Health Administrator: ‘Assume that it is here.’

For the local Floyd County coronavirus updates, Floyd County Public Health Administrator Gail Arjes joined the KCHA Morning Show. She cited that as of April 7th, Floyd County does not have a single positive case of COVID-19.

Her message to the area: “Assume that is is here.”

Arjes says if you have COVID-19-like symptoms, you should start by calling your healthcare provider.

The CDC just recently reevaluated their stance on community members wearing protective masks – Arjes is asking you to follow this new guideline.
