Floyd County Public Health on Friday’s micro-reopening: ‘be smart’ or things might ‘close again’

Starting Friday, a ton of Floyd County is about to reopen. On permission from Gov. Reynolds, churches, gyms, restaurants, and retail stores will have the opportunity to usher in customers. Though Gail Arjes of Floyd County Public Health reminds locals that the re-openings will be met with some lingering guidelines.

And furthermore, Arjes warns if a resurgence of COVID-19 peeks up in the area, the businesses will most likely close again. In that way, she urges locals to continue being safe and sanitary.

Frustration continues to fill the area as zero confirmed cases of the virus are being reported in Floyd County. Many still question whether or not the area hospitals are testing at all.
