Chickasaw County Public Health reveals 6th case of virus is in county


Chickasaw County has another confirmed case of COVID-19 for a cumulative total of 6 cases, with 5 cases that have recovered and been released from Public Health monitoring.  Case 5 was released on Monday, May 4.  The sixth case is an adult in the 41-60 year old age range.

 “Life has completely changed for many of us because of COVID-19,” said Chickasaw County Public Health Director Lisa Welter. “Social distancing guidelines are good for helping to slow the spread of the virus, but can be difficult for many, especially if it means isolation from family, friends or co-workers.”
