Chickasaw County Public Health: ‘Under further investigation’ 6th confirmed case of virus lives outside county

RELEASE FROM CCPH:

On May 5th, Chickasaw County Public Health announced a sixth case of COVID-19 in Chickasaw County.  Upon further investigation, it was determined that the person lives outside of the county.  The error came from an address that was incorrectly entered into the Iowa Disease Surveillance System (IDSS).  

As of May 6th, there are a cumulative total of five cases.  All five cases have recovered and 

been released from Public Health monitoring. Chickasaw County Public Health continues to work diligently with local partners and heathcare providers through the Emergency Operations Center in a coordinated response to COVID-19.
