Comet softball and baseball start next week; combined 6 home games (June 15-June 20)

One final weekend stands between live sports and Iowa. Both Charles City baseball and softball will be rounding bases come next week. Softball will have 7 games spanning the week and 2 of them will be at home; baseball will play 6 with 4 being at home. The initial opener will be the softball team vs. Decorah at 7 p.m. at the new high school sports complex.

 

Baseball’s opener will be the next day and will sport a double-header vs. New Hampton that starts at 5 p.m.

 

The first four outings for the baseball team will be double-headers: against New Hampton, versus Clear Lake, at Oelwein, and at home against Waukon.

Baseball full schedule week of 6/15-6/21:

Home vs. New Hampton 6/16 – 5 p.m.

Home vs New Hampton 6/16 – 7 p.m.

Home vs. Clear Lake 6/18 – 5 p.m.

Home vs. Clear Lake 6/18 – 7 p.m.

Away vs. Oelwein 6/19 – 5 p.m.

Away vs. Oelwein 6/19 – 7 p.m.

 

Softball full schedule week of 6/15-6/21:

Home vs. Decorah 6/15 – 7 p.m.

Away vs. Crestwood 6/17 – 7 p.m.

Home vs. Clear Lake 6/19 – 7 p.m. 

Away vs. Mason City 6/20 – 9 a.m.

Away vs. Osage 6/20 – 9 a.m.

Away vs. Clear Lake 6/20 – 11 a.m.

Away vs. Mason City 6/20 – 3 p.m.
